SCA is incredibly proud and excited to share a new opportunity for Australian Coaches to build the capability of Para Climbing across the nation.

Thanks to the Australian Paralympic Uplift Funding, and led by National Para Coach, Alex MacInnes, SCA is inviting coaches from across Australia to join the inaugural Para Coach Development Summit in October 2026.

Bringing together Australia’s climbing coaches, para sport experts and key high-performance stakeholders to:

• Educate and upskill coaches to confidently work with para climbers
• Improve knowledge of classification and the para climbing high-performance environment.
• Build connections and community among para climbing coaches.
• Contribute to the development of Australia’s Para climbing pathway.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN and are limited and will close COB Friday 24th July, 2026

LOCATION: Paralympics Australia’s headquarters (and local gyms) in

Melbourne on 17-18 October 2026.
