For this event, a special Youth Development category will be available to athletes born in 2011, giving them an additional opportunity to gain lead competition experience following the 2026 Youth Lead Competition season. The 2026 Queensland Open Boulder Titles is the event in which the Queensland State
Champions for Bouldering will be decided for all Open Categories. The championship also
helps athletes qualify for the 2026 Australian Boulder Nationals.
